Maybe the admins will give us a politics forum so certain members can slag off the Royal family, Conservative party, UKIP, Cameron, Clegg, and anyone else they would like to set their sights on. Surely it would be better than nearly every other thread being highjacked into a left wing rant.  |

looking at the news this morning regarding restrictions on opting in or out of being able to look at porn etc.
although i dont like it, i do see the need for it.
it is needed to stop children looking at it (which alot do) but i dont see where it will stop paedos/rapists etc, the other part i do not particularly agree with is that if i opt in, it will be easier for the powers that be to watch what i'm looking at, i know they can now, but doing this will make the process smaller and easier to spy on people.
this is my take on it anyway

politics is multi facetted, we all have our leanings etc..
perhaps if you had thought about that and posted the above in an objective manner it wouldn't have come across so one sided..
don't think you will get cross party support somehow.. |

There are those that love our country yet sick and tired of the way they are screwing us into austerity so yes voice our concerns and contest those that still have belief in them and a monarchy that allow the elite to influence and control our goverment |

 I'd let it go, some posters will never see reason unless its presented as a duplication of their opinion.
As for remarks about you loving your country & no longer being here.....good luck to you, I'm sure you contributed enough in order to have the capital means to leave for the lifestyle you desire. Despite the cooky brigade, this is still a relatively free world withplenty of choices. |

Right wing? yes these days I suppose so, but I don't think that I've swung to the right over the years, more that the centre has swung to the left.
Daily Mail reader? sometimes, I tend to prefer the Telegraph these days but you could have called me worse things though, like a Guardian reader
However I don't think the Guardian has much to do with most of the leftie comments on here. Most seem to come from that bastion of truth and fairness LOL the Mirror. Don't you just love 'em |
