Ju has a couple of watches and is always wearing one. I haven't had one for years. I have a pocket watch for when I'm dressed up but that is rarely brought out.

I have always worn a watch and would feel naked without. I wear mine with the face on the inside of my wrist. Less chance of it being damaged and easier to sneak a look at it without being noticed. |

I love watches. I have 7. Lost my sports watch in the sea at the weekend, currently doing some research for its replacement. A Suunto is in the lead at the moment |

always felt uneasy about wearing things on my wrists for some reason. I felt unbalanced.
when i was in primary school there was a trend for 'shag bands' (thin bands made of plastic or rubber) and i had to wear the same amount of bands on each wrist. Id look a tit if i wore two watches |

Unless they changed the backs of them, I can't. I'm allergic to nickel "

I still wear mine but mine have always been for decorative purposes and not functionality. |

Get a Hirsch watch strap.
The have a No-Allergy system for many of their straps and all their metalwork does not contain nickel.
Google for 'Hirsch No Allergy' |

I have always worn cheap digitals because my work / play meant that they got broken easily.
However, I would really like a huge collection of expensive watches, shopping trips used to be interupted by a ten minute drool session at a local jewellers who had a window display of mid priced decent watches, tag hueur, Rolex, some Cartier etc.
I worked in Canary Wharf for a short spell last year, and I found a shop there which had VERY expensive watches, we are talking high end of five figures, and a lot of my lunchtimes would find me steaming up the glass of the display cases!
Just need to win the lottery lol! |
