a sting?...she just latys her legs through the pincers, remember many insects use gripping methods etc.Come to think off it, Ive never seen their larvae, just the eggs as well as the pregnant females |

devils horesmen as I know them, nasty bite and I think can also squirt nasty fluid from that tail |
