There is a news story that beavers have been seen in the wild in Devon.
Lorna Douglas was amazed when she spotted the dam-building rodent… swimming in the River Otter.
The animals were hunted to extinction during the reign of Henry VIII in the 16th century, but have been reintroduced in captivity in recent years, including at a site in the Cotswolds.
