Much the same really aren't they? You can login to Skype using your MSN address and merge Skype and MSN contacts if that makes it easier.
I don't find Skype any worse to use than MSN myself. I can type, send files and cam. It's only really the interface that looks different for me. |

The only thing that pissed me off about msn was if you had a load of unread emails it would show up on your computer.
Skype slows everything down and I don't like the fact that someone can take a pic of you |

Strange, Skype slows nothing down on my PC.
If someone wants to take a pic of you or record video of you doing whatever you're up to on MSN / Skype they will regardless of whether you want them to or not. Simplest form is smacking the print screen button and pasting into MS paint. Most will use software though to record, if that's what they are doing. Now you mention it one thing that does piss me off is Skype isn't tied in with my Hotmail email account. Whereas MSN told you you had a new email Skype doesn't and I'm terrible at remembering to check my email.
If they altered the user interface of Skype I think that would help.
One thing to do with any of these pieces of software is ensure you untick the 'run at startup' button in options so the software doesn't automatically start every time you turn your PC on |
