This is the internet. By definition it's not safe.
Anything you post can end up anywhere. It's a bit like Poohsticks in cyberspace. |

Safe site? Once you post pics on the internet, they're easy to be copied, so you take you're chances!
Also, posts that are all caps are considered shouting on forums, so might be worth taking your caps lock off. |

Same answer as on the same thread that you posted in Site Help Forum.
There is an FAQ on the FAQ tab :-
"Q. Why don't you right-click protect our photos to stop others stealing / saving them?
A. We believe in being straighforward with the members of Fab. Right click protect doesn't work and gives a false sense of security by pretending to "protect" images. Other sites may pretend they've protected your images but actually they're being dishonest by claiming that.
Right click "protect" can be gotten around in under 2 seconds by several methods:
Simplest: Goto File menu, Save As, and save to desktop = The photos will be in a folder on your desktop that your browser has created.
OR... Disable JavaScript by going to Tools menu, choose Internet Options, Click the Security tab, click Custom Level, scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list and click Disable. Right click can now be used to save images.
OR... Press print screen and the image + page will be copied to clipboard where it can be pasted into a graphics program for resize or save.
We give you three privacy options on your photos and we now hide images from anyone who isn't a member of Fab. If you are worried about someone stealing your photos you may want to set them to be viewable only by your friends, or private in which case you can send by private mail.
We also now watermark all photos upon upload. "
If you've had your pictures stolen, you have my every sympathy. But.... in this day and age..... don't put anything on the Internet that you don't want to be seen by the whole world. That's just the way it is! |

The title of the thread yes! The whole firdt post? no need for that and it won't stop it happening anyway as nearly everyone should know by now. If you don't want to risk having your photos copied, don't post them on the internet, simple. |

Doesn't make it ok for someone to steal pics and post them somewhere else though does it?!
Not so long ago there was someone stealing pics and posting them of Faceache and it caused a lot of people a lot of hassle and embarrassment.
Thanks for the warning OP! |

This begs the question:
WTF do you expect Admin to do? |

The general warning should be:
People can take pics from this site or any site and post them where they want. It doesn't make it right, but it's what can happen.
You're best therefore not posting pics here or elsewhere that you'd be upset if they appeared somewhere else.
