Where were your best and worst ever holidays taken and why ?
My best was in Milano where I go at least twice every year as I adore the culture, vibe, food and drink plus the visual allure of the region
My worst was Zurich where I damaged my ankle skiing within 24 hours of arrival
Lovely place Zurich mind you |

Been on plenty of meaningful and memorable holidays, seen some fantastic natural wonders.....but it always comes back to the same place for me when I think about my best holidays...
Ibiza every time
My worse?
toss up between Malta and Cyprus, both have some of the most miserable citizens on the planet |

I was very lucky to have a career that took me to so many wonderful off the beaten track destinations in countries all over the world, so holidays have always been an bit of secondary experience for me…
But I never tire of visiting certain parts of Scotland and Ireland,,,,
and I have absolutely no desire to ever return to the razzmatazz of Florida… |

For me (Red) The Nile, Abu Simbel and Lake Nasser Egypt was the holiday of a lifestime, closely followed by Petra
The worst, Tenerife, hated the place, went out for my nephews 30th Birthday, got there on the Friday and of I could have got a flight home on Tuesday I would have done. Thank god he moved back to the UK |

i cant realy say which holiday was best because i liked them all. when we went to cornwall when my son was about 16 we stayed in a holiday cottage and our long haired sausage dog who we hadnt had for long came too.
maybe one of the worst ones was when we went to stay with my step daughter, her hubby and little boy in a pokey little RAF house, everything about it was awful including having to sleep on a bed settee which was so uncomfortable i got back ache. absolute nightmare. |

"Best was Egypt, worst without a doubt was Majorca.
Presuming desirable Egypt wasn't an extremely recent holiday ?"
No it was about 2 years ago, one week on a Nile cruise and a week on the Red Sea (El Gouna.
To be fair to Majorca that was one holiday out of five to the island, the rest were fine, just that one that was shit.
(remembered the quote this time ) |

Lots of great ones with the family but the best one has to be a motorbike tour of Europe 2 years ago. 9 countries in14 days, loads of adventures, parties and a couple of ladies
Worst one was a family holiday in Egypt everyone was sick and travel reps and company couldn't care less |

Best was Mexico last year to renew our wedding vows, the place was beautiful the staff were brilliant, we are lucky I would say we haven't had a bad holiday really, if I had to choose I would say feaurteaventura, we stopped in a resort called neuvo horizonte it had one hotel one pub and a supermarket and that was it, but I loved the quiet just not much for the kids |

I loved Tenerife , went 7 years on the trot. We did go to golf le sur think its called which is a very quiet area. Went into Los cristianas or however it's called and only lasted 2 hrs there.
Worst holiday was 2 weeks in Skegness butlins with the x mother in law.
Best Florida the 2nd time as the kids were big enough to go on big rides and they loved it. |
