I once bought myself an 'emergency' pair of Jimmy Choos. The 'emergency' was that I had been drooling over them for months then they went on sale. Hence the emergency. It really was an emergency... honest. |

I go by the 'pounds per wear' analogy. Ther are some things I would spend money on for quality so that it lasts a very long time. I agree about the Saville Row suits - excellent quality and timeless. Will last forever.
I will always spend a bit more money on things like a decent leather handbag, a good pair of winter boots or a good winter coat. Things you will wear a lot and will last a good amount of time. |

I think it is good to buy the best quality you can afford for that reason. Completely agree here. |

Oh I don't know....make up is essential so that doesn't count, (£100 a month) the last time I spent more than I would have normally was a pair of Kurt Geiger shoes, but they are so high, they have been reduced to bedroom only lol

Chanel clothes are beautiful, classic, timeless, classy and I reckon a pair of well fitting jeans, great shoes and a Chanel jacket would make gorgeous every day wear. |

I genuinely can't think of anything I'd want for myself that would cost an obscene amount of money.....I'm at a total loss to make a suggestion,,,,,
Perhaps a small holiday cottage on either the west coast of Ireland or the North East coast of Scotland....
But if the truth be known, I'd much prefer hiring one short term rather than owning one outright,,

I spent £300 on a pair of boots I have never wore, I knew when I got them I would never wear them but I loved them so much I had to buy them, they are still in the box like new ive had them about 5 years
even I find that crazy lol |
