.....on how to remove white stickers from the sole of shoes. Frustrating that you try and take the sticker off and it leaves half of it behind!
Thats what I get for buying cheap stuff
Any tips welcome xx |

Try nail polish remover? That is pretty potent stuff as it has acetone in it, well a lot do. A bit of that and a vicious rub will hopefully see the sticky bit come off.
Other than that very hot water and a finger nail and sit scraping! |

"I've got some that cost £100 and they still have the sticker. Warm water does the trick for me, dab it on and it should just peel off nice and easy x"
Tried that, still there, I'm bloody crap!
Will attempt it again, thanks for the advice x |

ah will give it a go. Can't use my finger nails, I've bitten them all off because they keep peeling and going brittle (meds I'm on)
off to find a sharp object! |

"run your hairdryer over it then peel off, failing that nail varnish remover will do it.
Beat me to it. Good minds think alike "
I've no idea where my bloomin hair dryer is! Never used it and my bedroom is like something off a hoarding tv programme. |

I should have put a disclaimer with that tip I gave by the sound of it |

Will a cheap pound shop version work? "

My hubby heard me moaning about the same problem , off he went to the shed and did the squirt with the wd40 and hey presto problem solved , think he only did it so he could watch the f1 grand prix in peace |

Spunk.
If it fetches the varnish of both my bedside table and PC desk it should do the trick with white labels.
Just leave to dry for a day or two and it should peel off of its own accord. |
