My Discovery broke down on the way to work this morning, fourtunately within walking distance from home so I went back and got on my 1951 Ferguson tractor and travelled the 7 or so miles to work. Entering a suburban area I saw a woman struggling to control a large black "shaggy" dog but thought no more as I passed. However, it wasn`t very long after I was aware of the same black dog running along the middle of the road beside me and directing much doggy verbals at me! Thankfully it didn`t follow me for long and what following motorists thought I don`t know but I can imagine there was much amusement! |

I've got 3 dogs which are all pretty well trained. There behaved and come to me when I shout them. When I take them for a walk you can guarantee ill run into someone who can't control there dog on the lead, never mind off. Dogs are always cute when there pups, people forget they can grow into big powerful animals |

It`s quite strange as I drive a bigger, more modern tractor but I still have mostly small dogs straining at their leads to bark like crazy at me as I pass! Must be the noise that the tractor makes! I actually find it quite amusing, especially the dog chasing me up the road! |

I have had 3 generations of border collies, all of which I could take out off the lead. My last one was the most comical though (he was the runt of the litter), he had cornered a mouse in my old house and looked dead chuffed with himself, tongue out tail wagging, when he looked back at me for appreciation of his amazing tracking technique, the mouse did a runner.....much whining and sulking ensued  |
