I had some issues with mine when I was told to apply E45 cream to it. Turned out I was allergic.

Has your tattooist given you a moisturiser that you don't normally use?

Is it a different colour to ones you've had before? Different ink can cause different reactions.

What aftercare are you doing? I don't remember any of mine itching. Was it the same tattoist? Have they used different ink?

Bepanthen is great for tattoos. My local parlour stocks it lol it's a barrier cream as opposed to a moisturiser so is better on the Open skin. Moisturizers and Vaseline etc push moisture into the tattoo and can cause issues with the ink.

I really want my new tattoo now!!!!

Slap it don't scratch it. Could be the hot weather affecting it. Mine all behaved differently. A week's not long, give it another week to settle down. As long as not's not red/ sore it should be fine I reckon.

Maybe it's just the heat then? Maybe speak to the artist and see what they think.

Could just be down to the weather to be fair. Mine still swells up from time to time and I've had it 11 years now!
