Mine is coming off slowly. Insist it would fall off like some people but it's not lol

The way I look at it it's going in the right direction. I'm doing minimal exercise mow so hopefully when I step that up it will be a bit quicker.

Congrats on your weight loss x slowly slowly catchy New smaller clothes

It's been quite hard due to only recently starting my thyriods medication so iv been gaining then maintaining then losing a pound etc, I'm at the gym three/four times a week, last week I did 8 miles walks each day. I hardly eat that's my down fall, but I'm slowly eating more but now I'm eating more its made me ill.. backwards I know lol. 2more stones to go then hopefully I will start to build upon my confidence n self esteem as at the moment I hate looking at myself I really think I'm the back end of a bus(that's not me looking for attention its just what I see looking back at me) xxx

The best way I found to control weight is by a food journal, basically calculate the calorie intake of everyday, and gradually reduce it by 50 calories per week, so your portions will get smaller, whilst you're exercising aswell. I've known people go from 16 stone down to 13 in a month and a half. Your diet is vital aswell as exercise! Eat low glycemic foods, as these will leave you feeling fuller for longer!! Good luck and well done on your progress to date!

I agree with Ryan and would add that regular small weight loss tends to have lasting success whilst dramatic major weight loss is often swiftly reversed and can be dangerous when being practised

I haven't dieted before, but I've found that often you might feel hungry but you're actually thirsty, so have a pint glass of water every morning. (This also helps if you're inclined to be drowsy mid-morning.) Another tip is not to buy biscuits, cakes etc, because if they're not in your cupboard you won't eat them and will have to resort to fruit instead.

Be careful how much fruit you eat though as they are often high gi foods which will spike your blood sugar and make you hungrier afterwards.

Any sugar that is not able to be used is stored as fat in the body (fat doesn't actuallymake you fat btw it's unused sugar from carbohydrates and sugary foods that does) .

I said this previously I'm not over the attention but maybe I'm beating myself up about it due to not liking myself so I don't see it as much of a weight loss lol x

half a stone in 10 weeks equates to two and a half stone in a year. The slower it comes off, the longer it stays off.

You're donin' great xx

I suggest butter or lard - pure fat, it's what you've lost after all!

Well done and keep going!
