Never had a bad word to say about her and hold no grudges but it was over 5 years ago since we last had contact.

Is she just being nosey or friendly.

Why is everyone suspicious of her ?

Did she do something awful ?

If she's just an ex and you parted amiccably ..... add her.

If you were glad to be shut of her block her.
