Your house is on fire and no other humans or pets are indoors thankfully.

Time allows you to rescue 3 items only which are ?

For me it would be -

1) A photograph of my late mother in her prime circa mid 1960's.

2) Olympic baton with internal note from Lord Coe re working at the games last summer.

3) A favourite northern soul 7 inch so rare that I'd be very unlikely to be able to ever replace it.

I keep my important things in a fire safe. Technically, it's a safe that has a fire resistance rating (an hour, I think).

Other than that - three boxes of family photos (does that count as one item or three items).

Is it really sad that I have nothing I'd rescue, as long as all humans & pets are safe.

I suppose at a push, phone, iPad and laptop......

Have just checked the metaphorical rule book regarding this pyromaniac's wet dream of a thread and three boxes of the same type of product counts as three items sorry!

A box that contains the hospital ankle tags worn by my babies and a lock of my sons hair.

The only picture I have of myself as a child. It hung in my parents home for nearly 50 years.

My wigs.

Pretty much all my possessions are in storage at the moment pending a house move !,

The only thing in this house now with sentimental value are a few photos letters and drawings…

So apart from those few irreplaceable items, I’d probably just grab a cold drink and a bar of chocolate to keep myself going while I sit and watch the rest burn….

Handbag (purse, phone, keys, passport)

Photos of family

Jewellery I got for my 40th last year from family

But in reality as long as all living animals safe, grab my phone n outta there. I've been in 2 fires and I've lost a houseful of 'stuff' through another disaster. It really is just 'stuff' it can be replaced or you can live without it.

My photo box, because it's precious.

My expanding binder with all my documents in (passport, birth certificate etc) because they're hard/expensive to replace.

My laptop because it contains my online life and business and would take a lot of work to replace.
