You have a bomb go off at the end of your street
Seriously what's the world coming to
Do these vigilante really thinking bombing a mosque will bring anyone back or prove any real point? |

apparently it was targeted because the three members of the Taliban that was arrested in Tipton in 2002 and sent to Guantanamo Bay detention camp are now back home and that's the mosque they use
Seems quite likely as it was Taliban members who killed Lee Rigby and today being his funeral |

"On a Friday during Ramadan. Not so indiscriminate.
I know nail bombs don't discriminate.
It sounds like it is a good thing that it was Ramadam as the prayer session times had changed."
Friday is Jummah though, that doesn't change during Ramadan. Its when the men go to the mosque for a special prayer session. During Ramadan it is more special, Jummah is at about 2pm at the moment, I'm not sure what time the bomb went off but I'd imagine it was around 2pm. The Government cannot say there are no homegrown terrorists now can they? |

You can only hope they knew this so chose that time to avoid injury. As a warning. I'm not condoning what they did. It's very twattish to say the least and I am giving them a huge benefit of the doubt here. |

Do they know who did it then and that they were British born individuals? |

Jummah doesn't move for Ramadan - it is more important during the month. Jummah prayers move throughout the year and are not at the same time. |

How true it is I don't know, was just saying what I read |

No I'm assuming it was someone on the far right and British. Sorry, didn't mean to. I'm just getting highly annoyed at the levels people are going to. Islamaphobia is disgusting |

On the report I read the Imam was in the mosque Just after 1 when the bomb went off but he said that luckily the prayers had moved an hour later because of Ramadan. If it wasn't Ramadan then up to 200 people would have been at the mosque. |

he homemade device exploded near the Kanz Ul Iman Masjid mosque in Tipton, West Midlands, shortly after 1pm – when up to 200 worshippers would normally have been in the area for Friday prayers.
However, the prayers had been moved back an hour because of Ramadan and no one was injured in the blast.

Glad u r ok and hope nobody else was hurt. My cousin converted to and married a Moslem. Pregnant so exempt from fasting at mo.
Whoever does these things are selfish thoughtless idiots usually without the guts to show their faces. Whichever side is committing the violence is wrong. The Moslems I know through my cousin and I went uni with are lovely peaceful, thoughtful people who are appalled at violence carried out in the name of Islam. |
