What a truly amazing performance for Ashton Agar making a world record 98 runs coming in at number 11 in the first test today.

I for one wish he'd made a couple more and got his century

Fully agree James. World class performance but a rush of blood to the head. Felt sorry frnhughes as well who was eyeing up a century

Yes Hughes was looking steady and assured.

I somehow doubt Agar will be number 11 bat for long on the evidence before us as he displayed plenty of correct shots and technical skill not slogs.
