This was such a desperately sad event and you can't help feeling that there was a trigger point in his actions that the public aren't privy to ?

The idea that he may have fallen asleep with a noose around his neck intending to only scare his wife but hung himself sounds a trifle far fetched to myself.

What do you feel ?

Being serious for once, I think the poor guy was in a desperate place and the balance of his mind was tipped by something, whether that ever comes out remains to be seen, I feel very sorry for his family and close friends - its a very difficult mess to deal with

We sincerely hope his family and friends are left to grieve, he was a wonderful guy and well respected due to his involvement in the junio football scene in this area.

Heartbreaking.

It's about as sad and tough to deal with for friends and family as you can imagine is possible in the event of any action.

Has the inquest been closed? If so we'll most likely never know anymore which is often the case with suicide.

There is a very popular theory easily searchable online.

I should imagine that his immediate family have no wish for the reason for his suicide to become investigated further and announced publically.

It is enough for them that they have lost a husband, father, son and sibling.

For their sake I would like to see it dropped from the public gaze....

Didn't he die in same way as Michael Hutchence?

The point is- does the truth need to come out ?

The coroner had issued his report and all was disclosed at the inquest.

Idle speculation is just intrusive to his family ......

I feel that’s it’s no-ones business but his families……

I don’t think there’s anything to be gained by making a media freak show out of it,,

O o O oo

I think it is sad enough someone close died the way they did without the reason being discussed as far fetched.

I think people should let the family grieve in peace.

True....only the 'rubber neckers' feel the need to dig deeper

In fact I would also say this isn't appropriate to be discussing on here.
