What were your favourite Panini sticker collections and or Brooke Bond tea card series and did you complete full sets ?
Mine were " Prehistoric animals " for Panini and " The sea our other world " for Brooke Bond.
I always managed to complete the Brooke Bond sets each year but never did find number 212 that would complete my " Prehistoric animals " collection
I remember that there'd always be deemed more desirable rarer stickers such as you could get 30 stickers for a swap of King Kong in that series and the England badge was always a strong trading commodity in a football series.
I also remember at school that there'd always be a kid with rich parents who'd have hundreds of spare stickers and at break time he'd say that he was going to throw piles of them up in the air and let the kids fight over them.
This activity had a name that was common parlance in the 1970's-1980's but which I wouldn't repeat now as it's ultra un pc |

I loved the Transformers Panini album when I was a kid, followed closely by the NFL one. And I've just realised how much if a geek that makes me sound, think I may need to move in with Leonard and Sheldon now! |
