I believe we have many different types of soulmates.. Some of my nearest and dearest friends and family I consider as soulmates...
However I'm still waiting for my twin flame to come along and sweep me off my feet! So until then, it's all about having as many fun adventures as possible! I'm in no hurry, I'm patient gal.. |

"I have a friend that is my soul mate. It's intellectual rather than physical. I need a body mate now."
Ha that's quite funny and I could see me in a different time and place being the same.
However through thick and thin my soulmate for a quarter of my life has been mrnotts and I never see that changing. |

"Does anyone here believe that a soulmate can be someone other than a lover/fb?"
Yes, my friend in NZ has been my best mate for 45 years. We know each other like the back of out hands and have shared some great times and some sad times. Distance hasn't changed anything either, we're still very close. She's my soul mate in so many ways, more than my hubby of 20 years was |

I have one who is platonic. We've adopted each other as sisters. She's my polar opposite personality wise but my BFF who I didn't find til I was 31 and thought this experience had passed me by (military brat).
Was told by a v good psychic when I was 18 that I won't meet my true romantic match til my 40's. I know not everyone into this but she did a long forecast v detailed. Everything else (good n bad stuff) has come true (even with me trying to change it). Inc my meeting platonic soulmate. |

Not quite what I meant. I meant a soulmate to me is like a wingman and more. Basically when you want to go and do anything. whether its drinking, the gym, play/watch sport or whatever they will be up for it. You should be Siamese twins. Not necessarily in looks, but 100% in personality. Your reactions/thoughts/feelings sometimes ideas should be the time at all times. Could say telepathic at some points. Seen it with brothers, but not mates as such. You and your mate like that? |

I don't think of it like that. For me it's the person I feel most complete with. The person that even if they can't help me/be with me would still have me in their heart and be interested in what is happening to me. The person that stimulates me and also makes me feel safe just because they are in my life. The important bit is that they feel this too.
I have someone like that but we are platonic.
If I can find another like that who is also sexually compatible then I would hit the relationship jackpot. |

My best friend is the polar opposite of me, she's quietish, but sometimes me don't have to speak, she's been there and through more with me than any man, her and jay get on fantastic, he says he thinks the world of her as she's part of me |

Actually, thinking about your description that is more like my sister. We are close and often telepathic. I will now consider her in the light of soul mate. |

No matter what type of outing it is. Do you think of inviting her or vice versa as you have the exactly the same interest/sense of humour? If you do and you socialise practically everytime you're out of the house. That is the perfect soulmate. Although I find that a bit dangerous as you will get too reliant on them. |

She feeds me every evening. We socialise together. We don't do absolutely everything together but we see each other every day for 47 weeks of the year. |

I was a size 18/20 when this person knew me, I've only lost alot of weight recently since my mum passed in December. He has been there regardless of weight, mood, good or bad, and never judged me. Always listened and helped me. |

Ditto. The life lessons due to both our relationship and the aftermath of it's break up, have been many, and with it my personal evolution has been huge.
However, I hope another romantic soul mate crosses my path, even better a twin flame.
As a side note, two of my children come from my soul group |
