What was the first single that you ever purchased be that vinyl or cd if you're younger ?

For myself it was " There, there, my dear " by Dexys midnight runners in 1980 for 30p as an ex jukebox single with the centre having been knocked out.

Still a great song from a great band

I guess for fab users early 20's and under it may even mean your first ever downloaded song but I have to say that just doesn't resonate in the same way somehow

It wasn't the first Single I bought, but one which my parents bought when my brother and I had a record player for Xmas.

The single was "Two Little Boys" by Rolf Harris.

Mum loved it!! My brother and I hated it and destroyed what street cred we had then!
