Constantly feel wrong being a size 18 my tummys always been my least favourite area. I know they say everyone's attractive to someone but at times does feel like why would amu guy glance at me when my gorgeous size 8 best friend is there |

I try to drop a bit and do a bit of exercise but then we end up snuggling and watching a film and it all goes out of the window. I just hate the idea of going to a club tomorrow and being looked at like I'm a beast  |

Yep me i class myself as a larger lady yet when people see me or pics they dont.

I hate my body, im your classic yo yo dieter, it holds me back on here quite a lot, i've often turn down guys because I don't have the confidance to meet them even tho i'd love to
we all have issues of some form I think
I always say you have to realise not everyone see's you as you see yourself but that's easier said that believed  |

Another self conscious lady here. I was a size 6-8 before daughter, size 18-20 after n have varied between 14-20 since. Currently a 16.
Add ex h who made snide comments about weight pretty much as soon as I gave birth...and confidence sinks.
Going ww trying to eat healthy n exercising (mainly swimming) to get to a healthy and sustainable size, but its hard  |

Concentrate on the things you like and forget about the things you don't. Some people will like you and some won't, just as some will like a size 8 woman and some won't. x |

Someone said to me in the club yesterday, "for a big girl you've got a really pretty face" I'd just played with a gorgeous guy, his response was to caress my curves and say I had a great body too.
At the end of the day I know I'm a fat bird! I also know there's men out there who find me attractive. |

We are alsways our sternest critics about how we look, I gave up smoking and put on loads of weight on and felt like shit but my fb's loved it!!
Swinging is probably the most relaxed social environment in where a womans appearence is judged, a few more curves, lumps, bumps and wobbly bits are desirable not a turn off.

Yes. I'm a size 16 with stretch marks, a wobbly tummy and an ass that Nicki Minaj would be proud of.....
I am self concious and it's a nightmare at times not only for me but for the other half, who loses out cos of my self confidence and my issues!! |

Granted I'm not everyone's cup of tea and have limited appeal but no more than anyone else, some guys like slim girls, I'm big. I'm also a brunette and some guys like blonde, I've dark eyes and some are attracted to piercing blue. There's a cup for every saucer. Mines a big cup and needs a strong saucer!

The things at always makes me laugh, and I don't know if others are the same, but I look at other larger ladies and some are really sex, dress nice and look good in what they wear, I don't look at other big ladies and think, fat cow, so why do I think it about myself?

I'm a big girl, hate my tum, but as someone else has said, it doesn't seem as much of an issue to fellas. I'm very fortunate to meet with gorgeous fit young men with bodies like the diet man! They come back too. So perhaps it's us that have it wrong, what we've always thought men want, perhaps it isn't. Albeit, I'm not overlooking this site is about sex...not a beauty competition lol. |

I don't think women will ever be happy with how they look really. I have a snag list on myself a mile long and wish I could change every bit of it. But my other half loves it and some other people seem to think I look alright so thats good lol |

i do it daily put myself down cos i have a bit of a tummy. my other half loves me for me and tries to make me feel good about myself. i think a lot of women are the same though and pics of skinny models everywhere dont help.

If its a beauty completion you ALL WIN as you're all beautiful for different reasons. You may look different size/shape wise, but you still are all attractive from what I see. Even though I won't describe how a man looks. I can safely say they aren't bad as they get female attention on here because of their looks alone.

This is like me ive met some real sexy guys with amazing bodies and get messages off lots....it doesnt seem to be a problem for them and they always want more.
And like someone else has said ive seen some amazingly sexy bigger ladies in clubs and never given it a 2nd thought we are always harder on ourselfs.
I went to a club recently and was worried my outfit was a little short as you could see my butt cheeks.
But someone commented with legs like that how could you ever keep them covered...but i always see myself as having thunder thighs. |

I'm self conscious about being naked, but that is not necessarily connected to body size, I disliked being naked when I was very slim.
I know that I'm a big girl and I'm not tall but I'm ok with myself. As long as I can get clothes that I like and as long as o feel good when I'm dressed ready to go out I'm ok.
I'm not bothered what other men think of me, if my OH told me he didn't like my body it would definitely affect me.
I think women are more critical of each other than men are. |

If there is something you don't like or wish it was different then get off your ass & do something about it.
You only get one chance in life so why be worried about being too fat too thin etc.
Having kids is no excuse that anyone has a wobbly belly or has put on excess weight ... Poor diet & lack of exercise causes most of that. |

I've been trying to tone up and get slightly toned but the ripped fit muscle men I see in the gym is really depressing. Haven't they got bloody jobs to go to? I haven't got any body imagine issues or anything but I would like to be fitter. |

Ive found the same. I've never had comments (to my face anyway) but I've had quite a few instances of women looking me up and down, and not in a pleasant way. I am very good at seeing people out the corner of my eye whilst pretending that I'm not aware of them at all. |

Im more concerned about the way people test each other than their size.
There is no such thing as a perfect man or womans body... We all see things differently.
I don't lack confidence, and I don't need anyones opinion to justify my body shape...
some people just so t like each other regardless of body shape or size.
And men feel conscious too, when the veranda hangs over the bits!! |

Im lucky I've always been confident with my body even when ive been my heaviest which was 15stne and I was that for some time I get frustrated more now when I buy clothes on line in the size I am and they dnt fit. I have always wanted to be a calendar girl for lager ladies lol its been a dream for some time maybe we should do a fab calendar xx |

I think a lot of people (not all) feel like this, men and women, I'm a size 8 but would probably feel self conscious stood next to you!
Just remember for every body part you hate about yourself there's something about you that others will feel jealous of, for instance I may be smaller but then I'd love to have your boobs, so that's what I would be thinking if I was next to you xx |

Everyone is different, and everyone has different estimations of beauty and what looks good to them.
I know its hard, but the sooner we all REALLY start believing that not everyone will find us attractive, regardless of size, the happier we'll be.
By the above, i especially mean men and women who put up mental blocks for themselves due to body hangups. Guy with a six pack showing genuine interest in a size 18 lady? It can happen. Petite size 10 woman showing genuine interest in cuddly guy with a belly? I've seen it.

Ted took me to Euerka's and made me strip in front of all, yes there were people there bigger and smaller of course and it did boast my confidence a little. Im a size 18, currently on slimming world "again". Ive lost 13 1/2 pounds in six weeks. Im not that happy in my skin obviously but want to get back in my clothes i bought new when i lost 4 stone 2 years ago. My husband says nothing to me fat or slim. I'm the opposite. I'm really slim and have been down to we're even a 28" waist was big for me. try buying mens trousers in the right size was a nightmare. I got to the point where I thought bollocks to it. I am how I am and funny enough when I stopped worrying about it, it seemed as if everyone else did as well. If that makes sense.

I always hated my body. Finally did something about it. Lost 3 stone. Was happy with myself for the first time In ages. The day after I hit my target weight I found out I was pregnant. Stupidly ate loads of the wrong stuff during pregnancy (partly due to morning sickness and then heartburn, other half due to me being a pig!) and put it all back on and then some. Now not happy with myself AT ALL! Hoping to stick to the healthy eating this time round tho. Would like to have shifted a fair bit by September when my lad goes to nursery so I can join the gym again and get fit like a was before!! |

I used to be a size 32 and have lost 10 stone but with losing the weight I dislike more of me! My belly is awful and my boobs no longer defy gravity but I love my shape if that makes sense?
I dress to flatter my shape and have never had any complaints, i'm happy enough to be naked around my other half and whilst on most meets I tend to keep lingerie on, it doesn't bother me if it comes off either. Sexy is subjective and a state of mind, if I feel sexy then others think the same! |

I've listened to my Mum telling me 'you'd be stunning if you were thin' for the last 20+ years. I'm not sure why I don't have some sort of eating disorder if I'm honest. If I ever have kids I can be sure they'll never hear that shit from me.

I spent 24 years with a guy who told me at least once a day for the last 15 years I was fat. He even shouted a waiter over while sat in a restaurant with kids and friends by saying oi fatty here wants her pudding. At my biggest I was 13 stone and that was pregnant.
Now after a long time I don't care what people think I love me
I had something along those lines with my ex, without going into long and boring details, he put me down at every opportunity about my looks
I remember his parting words to me when we split was him letting me that no other man would want me, the only guy's who would even look at me was some fat old man who hadn't seen a naked woman in years
No matter how many times people tell you to take no notice it does stick when you know the person whos supposed to love you feels like that about you, and if your own husband cant even look at you naked you do feel how am I supposed to get naked and feel good infront of other men
but what don't kill us makes us stronger eh "

"I'm a size 24. I have days where I feel like an elephant in a tutu, and I probably look like it too but most of the time I'm alright. I like to dress nicely and it doesn't distract from my womanlyness in any way.

If someone likes me enough to try and get me naked, then they have already seen past the wobbly bits and I have nothing to worry about. Its not just larger people who have body issues either, because im a size 10 im not allowed to have weight issues ( according to the girls at work)
All I ever get is " you dont need to go to the gym" or " god theres nothing on you" they think im crazy because I get up and go for a run at stupid o'clock before starting a shift at 6am or going to the gym after a night shift. |

I have issues with my weight, and don't like any part of my body apart from my eyes and my hair.
I was an 18/20 now almost a 12/14. I guess I'm just not happy inside which is making me feel this way about me. I have plenty to be happy about, but also alot of unhappiness yet to be expressed. |

I've been every size from an 8 to a 24, an 18/20 atm, my favourite, is in the middle, 14/16, but even at that size I'm don't like my body. I think most women have hang ups, it's how you deal with them that sets you apart. The things I dislike I can't change, so I accept, if someone doesn't like them, their problem. |

im the same
I can honestly say I don't care what other people think about me, I really don't, its the feeling of depression (ok maybe a little strong but you get my drift lol) I get when I look at myself that bothers me
What bothers me even more is that I am so active, I do community nursing and as I don't drive I cycle between my calls, I cycle on average 30 miles a day I work 7 days on 1 off, plus I go to the gym Monday to Friday every week yet im still over weight and I have no idea why, people say to me all the time with the amount of exercise I do I should be a size 8 lol and if im honest it does get me down as I don't know what else to do |

Haha this is true and in all honesty I was a size 6 once upon a time and I never smiled. I was awful haha maybe being bigger is better, for me anyway |

I'm a very confident person but when it comes to my body, all my confidence flies out the window. Even when i was a slim n toned I was never happy..... I always have and will always be self concious over my body! Just something I've learnt to live with... I am what I am, simple as that!! |

Think everyone has some part of them they're self conscious of wether it be weight, size, height or looks.
You can either be confident in who you are and accept I am who I am or you not and you make the change you feel will make you happier with in yourself.
All I'll say is don't feel you should change due to what others say or feel is the right, ie these skinny arse billboard models that look like they need a good meal.
We are all beautiful in our own ways and people will see that!! |
