Not really, lots of people don't like hot weather, but then I've spent majority of my time in the tropics and don't consider this "heatwave" to be anything near hot.

once it hits 40 degrees then it counts as properly hot.

We are currently just about warm

I am the same, hot weather should be for when all you have to do is sit by a pool. Can't wait for the cold again.

Agreed. Hot weather is for holidays and sitting on a beach not for when I am sat in an office.

Toronto

I'm originally from a tropical climate, so the heat is perfect for me. I hate cold much more than i dislike extreme heat.

But the recent heat here in the UK is hardly stifling. Loving it.

Snap minus the tropical climate, unless you count Scotland as tropical;-)

Although I prefer a temperate climate…….

I do enjoy extremes of seasonal variation as well as the odd spell of unseasonable contradiction which all go towards making up that unpredictable pattern also known as the Great British weather …

Shhh not so bothered about temperature but do like the lid to be blue instead of the grey we have had for too many years, also for those sweltering in work be sure to take a wander outside lunch time, women look so good without the quilted waterproof insulation they have worn the last few summers.

don't like it too warm and this to me is too warm. I overheat at best of times and with asthma this oppressive air is a nightmare

I only moan that it is too hot.. Other people do not moan it is too hot, but moan it is too cold.

People are different so people will moan about differing things

So in other countries different people do not moan about different weather types?

I was referring to colloquialism in reference to this country as I do not live abroad so wouldn't want to make a generalisation

So you are just moaning that British people moan about the weather. Without even knowing if it is the same in other countries or not ?

In britian sometimes the same people moan when it is too hot and when it is too cold, or when it is too wet etc etc .. These are the people that you really have to moan about .. hehe

I only moan that it is too hot because I do not like hot weather. Lots of other people love the hot weather and moan if it is too cold.

I tend to just get on with it rather than moaning. Unless your words can magically change the weather, moaning about weather patterns that have been fairly consistent for as long as i can remember is pointless.

I don't moan about the weather but I prefer cold weather, I am a autumn winter guy, my view is if it's cold you can always get warm, if it's hot there's not much you can do unless you have air con in your house
