Of my nephew.
He has sarcoidosis and as a result has suffered kidney function loss. Three years ago, just after our son was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had surgery, he too was diagnosed. Had surgery but because of his illness they didnt want to give him chemo in case it affected his kidneys, the cancer spread .so ended up having chemo and radiotherepy. Two years remission.
We have just been told he has to have a kidney transplant, thankfully,.his brother and dad are matches. So his dad is donating one of.his. My sister couldnt bear both her boys going under thr knife. Transplant due to happen end of this month.
The reason behind my post is because all through this, apart from during yreatment he has and will continue his nurse training.
I am so proud of him. |

Aww, really moving post, just shows the qualities of this young man. Very determined and keeping himself focused will be a great help to him.
It shows he has a strong spirit and is a very courageous. I'm sure your very proud of him, and treatment is far better these days.
Like the other lady said keep that chin up and lots of hugs. |
