when i was a kid there was a local open air swimmin pool. it was fab, we spent pretty much all summer holidays there. we wold bike down in the morning, fill up on rap food and slush puppies and swim to our hearts content.

you dont see them so much these days which is a shame

Swan cote just outside Bridgnorth is still open and next generation in Brierley hill open April to October

They are lush. Our town has one and so does a neighbouring village. Only just been given the funding for a brand new indoor pool which will be ace for winter months.

droitwich lido isnt a million miles away from you evie i think its a brine pool too which is supposedly really good for you it had a revamp a few years back and was always great

I've got a fooook'in huge one just over the road from where I live....its called the North Sea.... cold enough to shrink a scrotum to the size of a walnut, big enough to take a pee without anyone seeing and the waters already salty so no-one notice's anyway...

we had three outdoor pools when i was a kid...theyve all gone now sadly. my kuds wont have the fond memories as i did....all those who say they still have one are so lucky....i shall have to visit you all for a dip x
