Evening school, clubs for hobbies and I hear if you have kids even the school gate or parents evenings.

Some areas have social clubs for the over 30's or over 40's. My local on is over 40 so I might give it a try in a few months.

Frankly, this is so subjective and depends on exactly what you class as mature and what sort of partner you are looking for. One may well find one on here, if looking for a 'swinging' life partner, otherwise try the more mainstream dating sites or just get out and down the pub or whatever. I met mine on a similar site to this, was a totally unexpected and quite wonderful surprise to do so!

PS I am the most immature 46 year old you will meet and proud of it!

Dear me what a lot of patronising replies.

Lots of my single friends have this problem, there's a gap in the market here. They often rely on friends of friends or people they meet at the gym etc.

"Really? So there is a standard set on the type of person you are by which mass stocked food premises you shop at? "

Apparently.

Well...according to Waitrose there is.

Basically anyone who shops there are saying two things about themselves:

1) I'm better than you

2) I hate money.
