Right just off to the supermarket to pick up some stuff. So far I have salad,potatoes,chicken,king prawns,ribs,sweetcorn and sausages plus all the side bits i.e baps,dips etc...
Any other ideas please? |

My favorite  "
Cut into the banana on the inside curve through the skin and push a bit of chocolate in - not too much cos if it oozes it burns! Chocolate buttons work well.
Wrap in foil and barbie till banana is soft. Then just push the skin and eat with a teaspoon - mind though cos it'll be hot!  |

Thanks. I can't believe that I have never used bananas on a bbq before. Usually just have them with all the other fruit but will try today.

Cut them in half down the length, add chocolate to the middle, dash of your favourite spirit and give them about 10 mins  |

Put marshmallows and choc in the foil also its yummy and goes down well if any kids are rhere |

Recently we have been using bratwurst instead of sausages for a BBQ. There is hardly any fat in them and they BBQ really well. Taste great to. You can get them in sainsburys. |

I have an electric cooker as well, took some getting used to mind as have always had gas

Well that all went down very well. Good job I kept a bottle of wine hidden as all the rest of the alchohol was consumed.
Thanks for the suggestions and the bbq bananas went down a treat with all the kids and adults alike.
