Just had to call upon the services of superdad yet again as I am in Worcester with no purse and little petrol!!

Thank God for superdad - saving stupid daughters since 1980

We have always tried to be there for our kids, apparently bank of mum and dad is very popular here.

Never asked my parents for help, as my dad used to say made your bed etc and im a stuburn git anyway.

I know sardines are really good for you but I also think they should be a solitary indulgence and not be inflicted on a workplace.

I never knew my dad, he left when I was just 6 months old and know almost nothing about him. Bank of mum was always popular but she's getting on now and just been put in a respite home for 2 weeks as she is getting tested for Parkinsons due to falling over all the time - having just had a hip replacement as well, this is all she needs - her savings are being eaten up with all the gadgets she's going to need to help her stay independent - I don't begrudge her that but knows she feels bad because she can't help us as much as she has in the past. I'm lucky as my son rarely needs his bank of mum!

we do, but they just borrow more to cover the interest, not sure its going the way we intended
