I try not to, but I bet lots of people do.
We all make assumptions (unconciously may be but we do) about people by subtle indicators, the way they look, the clothes they wear, their name, the car they drive...if someone called Charles drove up in a bespoke suit in an Aston Martin you'd make assumptions, the same as if someone named Darren drove up in a clapped out Astra in a hoody....its the assumptions you make and how you act on them that make the difference. I really hope I'd treat both Darren and Charles the same.
PS no assumptions made about any one called Darren or Charles  |

Not sure what she actually does, she was in the apprentice about 6 years ago I think.
She just made herself look like a prize idiot, especially with that India comment! |

i seen her once being nasty to a fat lady on this morning, she reminded me of my much older sister, she looks like a horse as well.
i do like people who arent afraid to say what they think, but i have a feeling she may end up a lonely old spinster. |

shoot me for saying this all you like but i hear some kids names and do think 'wtf'
i dont judge the child but wanted to question the parents motives and yes its very stereotypical of me but thats just me being honest.
if a parent cant pick a half decent name then i would question what kind of people they are.. |

Was just discussing this with my sister.
She's done a few things like this I think they just drag her on every time they need a snobby idiot to speak about something. She was on about tattoos a while back as well, which my mum said she doesn't like tattoos and I then informed her I'm off for a 2 hour session on Tuesday!! Lol x |

I do agree with this as in I hear some names and think WHY?? But she was punishing the child for it. And saying that its silly to call ugly kids bella etc?? Daft mare x |

Its my job as a parent to influence in a way i think is responsible the rights and wrongs.. from then on its out of my hands who my child will want to form friendships with. I can only guide her choices |

Katie Hopkins was an unknown in the apprentice many years ago. It was controversial at the time as semi nudie out door field "romps" with her and a married man were published in the News of the World which later turned out to have been staged.
She has no talent or claim to celebritism other than her fake controversial views which she uses to keep her name in the public domain so she can get gigs like "This Morning" and it works . It's earns her good money and a great lifestyle.
Programmes like "This Morning" know exactly what they get when they book her.....great publicity. Right now that interview is all over twitter and numerous forums ....so it's all good for them and her.. |

Katie Hopkins seems to have made a career out of making controversial comments then appearing on TV to spout them out. I think the last one she came out with was about maternity leave.

One thing that's come of this is that naming your child is something you should take very seriously.
