I think he is a breath of fresh air, reminds me of a young Bob Dylan with his song writing.

Hrm... he kind of winds me up. Basically just a rebranded bob dylan. But we still have bob dylan!

Completely different music styles, so how exactly is he getting in on the back of Miles Kane?

I agree, nothing particularly new from what I've heard, but generally liking him quite a bit.

No I'm well over him now! He supported my old band when he was about 15 and wow!! He was awesome... Seen him 3 times since and every time, he gets worse... No stage presence what so ever! Buuuuut.... His music is great, no denying that. Just a little 'over' him now.

Not a fan of what I've heard on the radio at all musically, and the interviews I've heard made him sound like an arrogant little shit. Maybe bad editing...

Having watched his NME online interview recently I thought he was far from arrogant, in fact to me he seems remarkably humble considering his meteoric rise to stardom.

Exactly! How someone can judge him off an interview to then call him an 'arragont littke shit' is beyond me... Hes 18

He's playing the summer festival in the park here soon. It's sure to be a big hit having a local kid done good headlining

Mrs already added her thoughts but I really rate him. Incredibly gifted. Shame he chose the wrong side of the Trent for his football team.

I did say from what I've heard, and it's an opinion based on interviews heard on the radio. Nor did I know how old he was, and I've never 'seen' him on stage or being interviewed as I don't own a TV and as I'm not a fan of his music I've not gone looking for him on the internet.

I seem to remember him making derogatory comments about the artists performing at an awards ceremony and like I say it may have just been bad editing and he could have gone on to say the most profound interesting things for all I know.

So yes a very limited view...

Since when does being 18 stop someone being unpleasant? Try getting the bus home at high school / college finishing time.
