Yes. The man she was messaging for 2 years turned out to be a woman who did it for revenge.
Woman was stupid tho. If you haven't spoken to a guy on the phone and he keeps cancelling meets surly you'd have got suspicious.
Also on his Facebook he had his company. They Googled it and found it was in Pakistan. |

Yeah I can't understand how alarm bells don't ring for some people.
I once mailed a 'woman' for ages. I knew after only a few mails that it was a bloke but I carried on mailing because I liked him/ her.  |

They do it as they don't realise that they will hurt someone, they think they are unlovable for themselves as they really are so create a new persona, like "second life" i guess except that they almost believe themselves sometimes that they are the cyber personality.
