You know you're getting old when~~

You know you're getting old when you see a TV documentary about the years 1979-1989 and you know all the songs and names of the bands off by heart.

I thought back to driving home from work today and remembered that I didnt recognise one song or band on the radio the whole journey (my daughter was in the car and picked her fave radio station )

When was your decade ?

Late 70s - early 80s was my era.

Punk Rock was all the rage, literally, with Never Mind the Bollocks and The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle and then for some inexplicable reason The Human League came along and put paid to being sick on your shirt and gobbing at whatever band was on stage at the time. Those were the days.

Nostalgia - it just ain't like what it used to be.
