Recently chatting to a guy with the view to meeting him and his fb and find out he lives in the same street as me. Needless to say I ran for the hills - way to close for my liking. Anyone else had this problem? |

it happens. Wouldn't really bother me as long as they could respect my privacy. |

C recently had one who was in the next street almost backing onto her house and another that lived at the end of the road and recognised her whilst both passing in their respective cars |

Wouldn't bother me in the least as my playmates know where I live and I them and boundaries have never been crossed! I prefer local meets anyway. |

I wont meet with anyone that lives within 15 miles of me.
I guess it depends on what you are personally comfortable with, some people don't mind the wink wink at the school gates |

We've never met anyone local, guess that's an answer in itself. That said, nothing surprises us who is in the lifestyle, including the most demure and gorgeous eastern European lady and her husband who's son was in my sons' class, who we saw on here, after they had moved away.....damn, if only we had known!!! Seen and had the nod a few times |

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I'm not ashamed to be on here and i'd meet my next door neighbour if i got the chance, (shes hot, lol). But then again, i'm just a typical, horny guy, lol. |

My "baby" is 21 and I'm divorced. I've bumped into a playmate in Sainsbury's we were both alone and barely acknowledged each other and the day before I was riding his face!
That's how my boys roll: discrete! |

I don't meet anyone who I feel close enough that I could bump into them in every day life, I don't want to be seeing guys I've shagged while i'm shopping in ASDA with my kids
Also I do community nursing and I really don't want to be going on a call and finding their son's a guy I met last week |

All the above posts make me want to ask,
How close is too close?
Is too close to home a mile or 5 miles?
As a guy it would be good to know who I shouldn't chat to because they are too close and who I can contact because they are just the right distance away. |

You decide who you want to contact: if you're too close they'll let you know. I only meet people who can accommodate and I have no intention or inclination to travel hours for a meet. In my part of south London it can take nearly two hours to travel to someone on the SAME road! |

That all depends where you live I suppose. I'm in a very rural area and know someone in every village for miles around. I've met two that are within 10 miles but I made sure they understood the need for discretion before I agreed. Luckily they both wanted the same so that was ok. Anyone new joining Fab that I feel is too close for comfort are added to my blocked list. |

I'd actually like to find a guy within walking distance who I could see regularly lol |

As we know not everyone's discreet about their sex life's, I've seen it many times on here where people say they are open about swinging, their mates know, their kids know etc, I don't want to find out the local guy I meet is one of these people while he's pointing me out to his mates the next time he see's me |

Been chatting to a guy who works in pub close to me. Don't think I'll be going in there with friends or family and have made out clear that I prefer discretion of I do go in in unavoidable circumstances. |

Close proximity is a cause for treading carefully. Will they offer same respect and discretion as we would and do. If so why not, guys on their own perhaps less inclined couples would depend on length of relationship or marriage. For is its down to the individual on their own merit. We,re both pretty good at recogonising good souls, if they betray that then they,ll go missing anyway lol x |

I've met a woman who LITERALLY lives right around the corner from me and we've been meeting up regularly for almost a year now!
So it's not always a bad thing haha. |

We know a few local couples on here that we knew before joining the site. They know we know and we know they know but we never discuss the topic as our swinging needs are not compatable.. |

I don't really see the big deal if they seem trust worthy but then I don't live in a small town where people 'talk'.
I once bumped into a work colleague at a club night - oh how we laughed... Well she nearly shrank into the floor but hey ho. I just figure its a shared secret and mutual standoff. Like the cold war |

I know the majority of local "single" guys on here...all of them not actually single so I won't play with them (no problems with married guys, but not locals as neighbours seeing strange blokes isn't a big deal, but seeing Jane Smith's husband coming to mine would be). If there was a genuinely single local guy/couple/female that ticked the boxes for me I'd have no problem meeting up and maybe playing |

London is big with lots of people. I have found meeting people from the other side of London doesn't make you immune from meeting them in a bar or at the theatre.
The people who live closest I seem to bump into less frequently. It all boils down to trust. |

My ex FB works in my local newsagent , we were together for 7 years. Saved a fortune on texts and calls as every morning when I picked up my paper I saw her ! A crafty wink from her meant I was in for a good evening ! |
