At the time I really loved Slade....

But I guess now looking back on those times, T-Rex take some beating,,,, and I have quite a healthy respect for the music of "The Sweet" to,,,,,

Glam rock was reportedly started in UK in the early seventies.

I thought Kiss were ok and at one time reported to be the loudest band in the world. Elements of 'glam rock' but probably more hard rock or metal.

The Sweet were brilliant, saw them at the Asembley Rooms in Derby, they did a tour with Mud.

Fox On The Run & Love Is Like Oxygen were 2 of my favourites

I think I’m right in saying that Brian Connolly was the half brother of the actor who played Taggart...

You are Soxy. The thing with Sweet was all the good stuff was always on the B sides or side 2 of their albums. They were marketed as one of the top echelon of the Glam Rock bands, but they were a serious outfit behind it all.

Never bought a record by GG but will own up to going to the regular Christmas gig he did at the Brighton Centre in 1995.

Was honestly the worst concert I've ever been to....ended up getting pissed having a major row with gf of 3years and the end of said relationship.

It always got good reviews but the year I went...there were problems with the sound system so most people retired to the bars.
