Double tapping the shift key on my iPad gives me Caps Lock...only had the damn thing since October, NOW I CAN SHOUT!!!

Doesn't it? The shift keys also turn blue with white arrows on mine...simple things please simple minds eh?

It should , try again it goes blue when you double tap it. And just incase you got wrong key it's the arrow key.
