There are a couple of good ones in Little Lever, Bolton.
Finger Post (I don't know how it got that name).
Nobb End. At the end of that particular road there is a building called the Nobb Inn.

Not wishing to appear 'Glutius Maximus' obsessed, but not too far from me is a small town with a road called...
Butt Haw Close...
.. and, not too far from Ruby, in Maldon is ... Butt Lane.
Seems to be a bit of a civic obsession, butts...

"New houses built beside local crematorium street name is Ash Way.......honest. Would you live there?"
That me chuckle and reminded of when recently Ted and me went to the Crematorium, there was a bin outside the door saying "No hot ashes to be put in the bin" on a very sad day, it gave us all a good laugh |

Doggin lane would be good lol, slightly of topic but there used to be a pub in West Bromwich called the black cock it's a shame that closed down it was a nice boozer to be fair there were many jokes but the best one was when my pal was talking to the owners of the pub down the road about that they wanted to move to a different pub they were a gay couple and my pal suggested they might like to try the black cock, lol |
