Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Have you seen the new diclofenac warning? Avoid if you have heart, stroke, cholesterol or high blood pressure issues. Smokers should also avoid.

I don't keep painkillers in the house as I find they become less effective with prolonged use.

douglas

These tablets are anti inflammatories not pain killers.

If taking four a day you are on the wrong tablets or the wrong dose. Also you should be given some lansopmorople as well

Diamond you should be taking another tablet to counter the effects of the diclofenic on your stomach. I don't think you are meant to have them for prolonged use.

I was on them for well over a year, I got a letter from doc saying my repeat scrip was being changed to something else....they're no good for me now as most of my pain is nerve so I'm now on Gaberpentin (and a slurp of morphine tonight I think)

I do miss Kaolin and Morphine. We'd let the kaolin settle and just take the morphine back in the olden days.

East Yorkshire

As I understand the same warnings are in place for ibuprofen and other NSAID's when used for prolonged periods.
