I strike again grrrr while away in blackpool this week i fell down the stairs in a shopping centre smashing my knee and shin which is now black and swollen. We have had it xrayed but itsnot broken but its agony i have shooting pains down my shin depsite doing this 2 days ago and a weird pulling sensation of the muscles i assume in my leg around my knee when i bend my leg. So lots of rest for me now and it spoilt the last 24 hours of our holiday as i was unable to walk and help pack up the camping stuff. So as im sat here feeling sorry for myself what suggestions have you lot got for me to do to while away my time suggest good books or games i can play while i have one leg strapped up please save what little sanity i have left |

I cant recommend anything more highly for someone temporality incapacitated than a copy of "Uncle John's Great Big Bathroom Reader" or anything from the Uncle Johns Bathroom reader series,,
I hope you feel better soon,,,,

Knee damage is mega painful. If there is no real damage, make sure you keep it moving. You don't want your ligaments / ham strings stiffening. That will be additional pain you don't need. |

Yea you could well have done the ligaments it's easy done. Keep it elevated and apply ice packs regularly until the swelling reduces. That is where a lot of the pain will be coming from |
