Yeah, she's a Neuroscientist in real life. She was initially an advisor on the show before they decided to give her the role of Amy (Who I am so in love with, I named my Fab self after her, lol).

Some of you may recognise her from that teen show "Blossom" in the 90's. She's done bloody well for herself!
