This has probably been done to death but indulge me... I'm curious... 
Does anyone ever arrange a meet out of the game threads? Do you send a message to someone if they've made it plain they fancy a shag or do you just consider it forum flirting?
I don't read those threads very often but sometimes (when things are slow and I'm a bit bored) I will and there's flirting going on all over the place. Then I read another thread about people not having the balls to message someone.
I think I want to know why not? What's the worst that could happen?

Im really not into 1 off shags no offence ment to those into em but for me I find them borring also I hate the stigma that come with being a single male so rarely send the 1st pm having said that I flert like feck on the streads  |

In answer to the actual question......
I've not met anyone through the forum, I tend to use the forum for a little fun.
Any meets I have had haven't been initiated through the forum, but direct messaging.
I'm talking a previous profile. |

It doesn't necessarily have to just be one night though. It has to start there though doesn't it? You need to actually meet someone to figure out if you want to have sex once never mind whether you want to make a habit of it with someone.
Surely you can get a vibe as to whether someone is interested in you while you bounce round the forums? Are you sitting here watching things pass you buy cause you don't want the rejection of an offer? (I mean the general 'you' not you personally just to be clear)
I think life is short and how do you know if you don't do the one off shag to begin with?
I'm seriously making sense in my head but I probably should be in bed!  |

Apart from the very first person I played with, all other encounters came from me messaging them from one thread or another in the forums. Usually a game thread! Forums are a great source of hunky men and luscious ladies xx

in all honesty when it comes to some 1 likeing me I rarely see it myself an normally only see it if its pointed out to me guess in that way im pritty thick an again if im honest in myself im confident as fuck but really dont think im all that. No iv no problem with being rejected its life as you say what have you to loose. What I ment was id not arrange a meet knowing it was just a 1 off. Hope that makes more sence sorry x |

I flirt very rarely on the forums as ive had people take it literally and that makes me a little wary,if I do its friendly fun banter,I mostly keep my playtime and forum time as seperate entities |

As I don't send out random messages, most pm's seem to be with forumites. Some of these lead to an exchange of phone no.s and possibly an eventual meet

Over the last year or so I've had more meets (social as well as fun!) with folk I've initially 'met' via the forums than any other method of interaction. It's now very rare i'll PM off a search or a local update - as I definitely find the banter in the forums is usually replicated in real life once face to face with a lovely fellow forum nutjob! |

Snap. I very rarely go into the Welsh forums either as they just seem to be full of threads about socials in S Wales or dogging location questions 
I use the Forums as banter but have exchanged PM's with a few which is always nice. Oh and I've had a few pics Fab'd through being on here too
But to answer the OP if I lived closer to some of the gorgeous men on here and the banter was good then I might consider messaging  Although I've never sent the first message on here so far lol |

Shameless repetition of my post on an earlier thread ....
The truth of it is that the 'games' in here are just another way to raise or shake those tail feathers in the ritual that procedes a successful mating. Your wit, charm and personality are your foil in here (a good ass pic helps too as Mr Keen has alluded to) and whether it leads to mating in the physical sense or just a meeting of minds it has its rewards.
Getting all this across in a short unsolicited message that 9 times out of 10 will be deleted without being read (statistic made up btw) can be a time consuming, difficult and thankless task.

Some people flirt, some people have a go at flirting but aren't the best at it. Makes me cringe at times- I think these threads can be fun, depending on who is above, but there are too many of them, I cannot help but think a lack of Brain cells induce so many. |
