Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Now, I know lots of people love tattoos, have them or are planning on having them. But for me extensive tattoos are a turn off.

Am I in the minority?

I see myself as a work in progress!

That progress will continue for a while yet - probably til I'm dead!

I think you probably are but I am too. I have none myself (partly cos I have sensitive skin/allergies)

I get n like a few tatts but not particularly a fan of whole arms n huge back/torso ones but that's my particular taste n still have friends and would be friendly to ppl that have this

In honesty, on ~98% of people, I'm not a fan.

Occasionally I see someone who suits extensive tattoos, but I wouldn't call it a turn on.

I wouldn't get one because I don't think it would look good although I have considered multiple times.

I have three but they're all quite discrete and I can show them or not. I don't really mind either way. I think it's more about the person than the artificial appearance and tattoos are subjective but I like tattoos so I may sway further that way.

That made sense in my head but I've been typing it for about 20 minutes.

some guys suit tattoos & some don't. My FB has them & they look good, I don't have any yet but I'm considering having one.

It's each to their own choice. I have a pierced nipple & have had guys that are happy to chat but won't meet because of the piercing. It's down to the individual xxx

Almost indifferent to them to be honest. I think they lost their rebel status a long while ago and have become almost the norm. It wouldnt influence my impression of a woman or a man one way or the other but I know that some elements of society do judge which is why I was dead against my son having them ... which is probably why he has loads of them

I find that a lot of women are turned off by tattoos and a lot of women are turned on by them. Admittedly they are not everyone's cup of tea, my tattoos are part of me - take me or leave me. It's only a bit of ink at the end if the day.

i have tattoos and love them.

but then find like anything we all have different tastes.

people with tattoos may like mine but they may not and vise versa.

generaly i like guys with tatts...from 1 or 2 to body covered in them. All depends on the guy also if i like or not.

tatts are like fashion though..we all different taste as to how we dress etc and what jewelery we like...and peeps have tatts because they like them not to impress people...i love mine but my best mate hates tatts bigtime! nearly fell out over it at one point

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I've been thinking about this. No one in my family has them. Well I thought they didn't until my mum told me my gran had them! She always kept them hidden. Apparently a friend did them on her arms but she was so ashamed of them she hid them all her life. Now, as she was born in 1891 and was a teenager when she had them done it would have been the ear 1900s so you can imagine what reaction she must have gotten.

Maybe subconsciously that has affected me?

I only have one, and it was done at a time when I felt I was being liberated, after joining FAB for a few months.

I was nearly 45, and thought my bum has sagged enough not to distort the tattoo for a good few years.

The tattoo is personal as it is of my own design.

I don't mind a few tasteful and artistic tattoos in the right places on other people, don't like anything associated with death or violence.

I Andrew have (little red diamonds on my thumbs, tradiontional lighthouse with roses saying 'shine on' on my forearm traditional sailor girl on the top of my forearm, shooting star on my elbow, a sailor jerry piece on my bicep, swallows on my chest (no puns and I had mine way before that twat in 1Direction, lyrics up my ribs, various other stuff on my thighs and calf.

I'm also a front man for a metalcore/hardcore band. For what my band sounds like YouTube 'the ghost inside-between the lines'

Yeh it's probably extensive but they don't hurt anyone (apart from myself )

But yeh that's me if tattoos arnt your thing not a problem

The lighthouse inspires me to stay positive and keep shining, the sailor girl has the same hair and eyes as Louise.

My dad also has a shooting star and it symbolises that my dad and I could talk again (after not seeing him for 7 years)

The swallows on my chest are the people in my life that have passed away and they are still watching over me (uncle was murdered in south Africa and my god mother died to cancer, best friend in a car crash)

The lyrics down my ribs 'I spill my heart for you' because I have a undying love for Louise

The cherries on my calf have stars inside, I've lost 2 children so just reminds me to think about them nd how fast things in life can change.

Yeh no one asked for the reasons behind some of my tattoos but to me it was kind off like therapy, I have something to show that I overcame I really crap situation. I love my tattoos and I do get that they arnt for everyone.

So yeh that's me
