"Would you say you are na arguementive person? I try not to be but I got to say what is on my mind which usually ends up in an arguement."
I can keep my mouth shut and don't mind someone thinking they have ""won". But if they are arguing something as simple as the correct way of spelling something,or the date of something and I know I am right, I won't let go. |

I also think that everybody has their own very unique experience of the world and a particular situation so that is of course one of the cause of conflict. 2 people experiencing the SAME situation in 2 very different ways - hence the conflict.
What would be so wrong with acknowledging that both are "right" to some extent and that some things are a matter of perception? Just a thought!  |

I dont like conflict either and as such I am conflict avoidant if I possibly can. That said, I will take a stance if I think a stance needs to be taken - if that makes sense to anybody else but me |

I was with a guy for 8 years and hand on heart I can say that we never once had an argument .. it drove me mental to be honest as it seemed what ever I said was good to go or right .. which clearly is not the case ..I am now living with a guy I have been with for 14 years and we do have explosive episodes from time to time but it is a much healthier relationship |

I had a massive argument with my flatmate at the weekend..,. Due to his lack of paying rent.... I felt better for it as I was in the right..., he broke his tenancy agreement...., a friend had to step in though to stop me strangling him.....,..arguments are great when you know there's a resolution..... |

Back on topic, when the exwife and I were together, she would try and start arguments with me. I would only say "OK" back!

generally im pretty laid back but some people have no tact and will take every fucking oppertunity to rub salt in wounds.. seriously pisses me off
takes a lot of will power to keep my mouth shut.. but id rather be the adult and hold my head high then stoop that low |
