Absolutely it is, an ex and I used to go out the week before or after to avoid the higher prices. |

Blimey there're some tight unromantics here tonight lol
I love Valentine's Day. In the past I've been whisked to Paris, Madrid, wined and dined the whole shebang. My ex husband would bring me a dozen long stem red roses plus an African rose for each of the children.
Sadly for the last two years nothing: nobody loves me! |

My lovely flew me to Venice for lunch one valentines day... and he was a year round romantic.
He wanted to give me a day to remember, which I still do with especial fondness as he isn't here any more . |

I have absolutely NO idea what we'll do this year.
I'm tempted to block out the world, snuggle up on the sofa with Hubby and the cat and watch every single episode of family guy armed with some form of take away and lots of bad, but yummy, things to eat and drink. |

My birthday is very close to Valentine's Day, and it pains me to see the price for flowers being inflatted few folds during this time of the year.
And there are never enough big yellow roses about, as I don't like red ones!!! |

"My bug with valentines day is the card shop rip-off, how come they don't sell valentine cards in boxes of 20 like they do Xmas cards ?"
.
It is catered for most people who have just one special someone in their lives.
Easily resolved - design and make your own, or use sites such as Moonpig or Vistaprint to make them in bulk, simple, as the meerkat would say! |
