But surely it would be financially imprudent to suggest cuts against profit making national institutions who actually generate revenue for the nations exchequer…
The money's spent maintaining the Royal budget is far exceed by the financial return our nation's economy attracts from the wider spending of overseas tourists who come to our shores visiting the various royal related attractions and spending their money in our highstreets and hotels etc
The money spent providing the royal budget is not lost to the nation, it just simply filters back into the pockets of the general public…
Even the people who directly work at providing the all trappings of the royal household spend their wages in a way that help our economy,,,
They spend those weekly/monthly wages in British shops and paying for British services and buying British manufactured goods....
So in doing so they are helping those shops and services and business employ people who in turn spend their wages in a similar way thus helping maintain the way our whole economy works..
Effective cuts from government spending are made where current or projected expenditure outpaces the returned value of sustainable public funding..
The statement we are all in it together doesn’t mean everyone will be effected equally…..
So surely would seem a tad bitter and narrow-minded to suggest otherwise ….

The rich are all rich together,
the poor are all poor together.
and by 'all in it together', what they mean is families are all in together, as they can no longer afford to go out |
