I still have my phone on and about as a way of communicating a yes or no.. When I conveniently need to pop to the ladies. After that don't look at it if it is a good to go.

I once pulled out my phone on a meet in weatherspoons logging in fab.
We'd had a few drinks and I completely forgot we were in a pub.
My screen was full of tits and asses and there were a group of people sat directly behind us!!
She was like "Ben! They can see your phone!!"
I'm sure a certain lady remembers that one!!!
I think everyone logs in fab on a meet just to see what's going on!!

My phone is away. I might check it when I pop to the loo though. But I actually hate when you are with someone and all they keep doing is checking their phone. It's like their bloody phone is more important than me or something. I don't get why some people treat their phone like it's an extra bloody limb. My phone is always on silent anyway.
Ok rant over. |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
I was late getting a mobile so not keen on them anyway, but I really hate being on a meet chatting away then the other person starts tapping away on their screen, reading and replying to messages. I have to say something when they do that. |

"Pop it in between his arse cheeks.. handy if Mum rings .. "
Haha!
I wouldn't pull my phone out purely out of rudeness though!
Depends on the moment/situation.
For example mid conversation would be rude.
Pulling your phone out 100 times would be rude.
I wouldn't find it rude if they did it a few times..why?..
I don't expect someone to give me their undevided attention 100% of the time.
That particular meet was a really good laugh!
If your having fun..you feel so relaxed that you just do it. Hence forgetting I was in a pub!
It's subjective to the situation.

I just don't understand how anyone can think it is acceptable to be in someone's company, chatting away and it be OK to start splitting your attention between them and a chunk of plastic.
Someone was telling me today about a guy who was sending flirty texts to his next hit... though he kept saying it was work... finishing the text before reply to what was being said by his meet.
Personally, they'd be following their phone out of my front door (no matter what state of dress they were in) if that was happening. It's nothing to do with them flirting with someone else coz none of us should expect to be exclusively fucking/messaging someone... it's about being socially inept in company, ill-mannered and being so cretitously dependant on virtual interaction that life isn't complete without a phone-junkie fix. |

Its in my bag mostly ignored, never been on fab and never even think about it,I think once I showed the guy I was with and know really well a text id received as it was too hilarious not to share it
If someone prefers the company of their phone rather than the company of the person they're meant to be getting to know, seduce, fuck, then they can fuck off |
