"Been sent home from work as was bitten on Monday night and arm is twice the size, any ideas how to get swelling to go down?  "

Get yourself to the Doctor pronto.... I got bitten last Wednesday nite and saw the GP Thursday with every bite infected, have been on double antibiotics since then and also antihistamines three times a day ...... the swelling and redness has now gone but I was advised by GP if the antibiotics didn't work then I would have be in hospital on an intravenous drip |
