We're leaving at 5am tomorrow morning, so should hopefully be all set up by late morning/early afternoon.

Not there this year but we are going to a cool Glastonbury party on sat with huge screen in the garden and lots of festival madness lol   |

I was supposed to be there but got a new post work wise which i start next week but i am in the process of the mega headache of sorting staff out arriving today and tomorrow  |

I'm not going but loads of my friends from midlands are going.
Glastonbury ain't my thing. I prefer creamfields/homelands.
Gigs like Gatecrasher etc..etc..

Always there in mind, every year. Been there in body a few times, never in any mud, nogates or fences either, for that matter lol Ah, those were the days...plenty of room for camping, sun, fun, great bands, air of gentle benign neglect about the place. Happy memories...

We are all setting off in the next hour, not looking forward to the drive though as in convoy with my old folks and other family members and my dad now drives at a snails pace but insists on driving |

Haven't been for about twenty years now. As Hells said earlier we'd only contemplate going if we were in a luxury motor home with private toilet and shower. Somewhere down the line we have turned into proper softies.

More than likely, if you see a VW Camper being driven by a old hippy with with 3 cars full of people looking frustrated then give us a beep. As it is I'm planning on loosing the will to live on journey at around 5 this afternoon, when my old man will no doubt have said at a wee stop "we used to have all you kids in one van when we used to come down" for the 5th time. |

We're in 3 cars but we're just going to reconvene at a motorway services on the M5 just before the Glastonbury turn-off in the morning, then drive in together...far less frustration, when daughter, son-in-law and the 3 kids are in a people carrier that does about 60mph, tops !!

If my old man hits 60mph at any point it will be a miracle. Looking forward to this year especially as the weather looks good. Looking forward to seeing PIL, Fuck Buttons,Primal Scream, Tame Imparla and of course the Stones. Not looking forward to scrumpy hangovers and forgetting where we have pitched up due to the afore mentioned scrumpy |
