Is it not time that Winks are removed - often viewed as lazy or the mark of a time waster . Lots of profiles on this site and other sites expressly ask for them not to be sent !
Most winks I suspect are instantly deleted even without a profile view of the sender ...
By getting rid of winks - it may even encourage some creativity or effort in initial messaging ? |

They are fine as they are as people can mass delete if they like, look at who has winked or ignore. Far better 2 dozen winks to ignore than 24 dross messages to filter through. |
