There is absolutely nothing better than roasted Camembert with fresh warm crusty bread and a red fruit coulis. There's a little restaurant in a village called Tremolat in the Dordogne, they have it on the menu and its quite possibly the nicest thing I've ever tasted! Been trying to perfect it for months x |

Pre play - Large portion of chips and two gherkins.
Post Play - 6 bottles of Stout and half a bottle of sweet sherry (that's for you )

Mushroom towers. That's mushrooms fried in a 50/50 ish mix of olive oil and butter with about 3 cloves of pressed garlic. Serve them in 3's on a cocktail stick mounted on top of a slice from a baguette letting the juice soak into the bread. All rinsed down with a bottle of Rioja Crianza or Reserva. Dessert would be a generous helping of sherry trifle with lots of whipped cream. |
