Most dictionaries translate it from the Greek/Latin to mean hate or hatred of.
That's too simplistic a definition.
Often people are misogynistic without even being aware of it. Other women included mores the pity.
It can range from failure to see the value in women, mistrusting them, misunderstanding them, demeaning , misgtreating or abusing them and seeing no wrong in it because they are women and therefore inferior.
I think some dogs and cars are inferior but I don't hate them. There's a subtle difference.
The worst misogynists are men who say ..... 'I love women' ..bleuuuuuuuuuuuugh .
To answer the O.P. I view coming on a womans face at the epitomy of humiliation. One step away from making her eat shit if im honest.
I won't moralise with those that like it.
I can't help their complicity anymore than I can help victims of abuse or kidnap who form attachements to their abusers.

Each to their own at the end of the day.
Some find the doggy position demeaning whilst others love it.
Likewise with rough sex, talking dirty and using derogatory terms during sex, anal sex, etc. etc...
