My sister shocked me today. Had she lived it would have been my niece`s 30th Birthday today. Sadly she was starved of oxygen for five minutes at birth and was born quadraplegic. She suffered life for eight years - can`t call it lived as she was in constant discomfort to varying degrees.
Happy Birthday Daisy Elizabeth. |

Thanks to EVERYONE who has replied to this. As I was saying to someone in a private message earlier, whilst Daisy`s short lifespan was expected and time has eased the pain, I can`t help but wonder what sort of niece she would have turned out to be, what sort of granddaughter she would have been to my Mum, would I have been a great uncle by now, so many unanswered questions, but then sadly that`s life! |

I think when someone dies before they've even had a chance to live its natural to wonder how life would have been for them around the times of the normal milestones that we all take for granted xx |
